What is a Control System?

A control system is a device in an audio visual integrated room that manages, commands, directs or regulates the behavior of the other devices in the room. It consists of a control system processor and a control system program. A control system processor processes every signal sent out on a network and makes the signal available to all elements of the AV solution. A control system  program is the code and user interface that manages the commands and signals. For example, by touching a button on the control system, the program will instruct the processor to send a signal to a the specified device.
