Whether it's attributed to the SARS epidemic or a full-court marketing push, Hauppauge-based International Video-Conferencing Inc. is on a pace to reach revenues of $22 million this year, outstripping last year's $15 million-plus, according to Harold German, the company's marketing chief.
The company, with about 50 employees, has cut a flurry of major corporate deals in recent months. For instance, in June, the company installed a video conferencing and audio visual system covering 42 locations for Aetna.
In April, International Video-Conferencing installed a system covering more than 60 locations for managed healthcare network WellPoint, which conducts an average of 781 multipoint video calls a month.
Other high-profile clients include ABN Amro (May), Verizon Wireless (April) and Ernst and Young (January).
Last year, International Video-Conferencing ranked 148th on the INC 500 list, with a 1,390 percent growth in revenue over five years.
