Industry Expert Charles Macli Joins IVCi
Experienced Sales Executive Completes Management Team
Hauppauge, NY - June 3, 2002 - International Video-Conferencing, Inc. (IVCi), (www.ivci.com), ranked 81 on the Inc 500 list of the nation’s fastest growing privately-held companies for 2001, today announced that Charles Macli has joined IVCi as the Senior Vice President of Sales. In this role, Mr. Macli will manage IVCi’s nationally deployed sales force of conferencing and A/V professionals.
“I am excited to be back in the video conferencing industry and to join IVCi,” explains Macli. “Video Conferencing is an absolute ‘must have’ for any company with multiple national or international locations. The benefits are real and quantifiable for those companies that implement best in class equipment, services, policies and procedures.”
The addition of Mr. Macli to the IVCi roster demonstrates IVCi’s commitment to the conferencing and collaboration industry. “We are very pleased to welcome Charlie to our global team,” explains Adam Zeitsiff, the CEO of IVCi. “Charlie’s experience in this industry, strong network of contacts, and demonstrated ability to meet and exceed customer expectations makes him a perfect fit for our company.”
Mr. Macli’s tenure working for technology companies includes a 15-year period working with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as a district manager responsible for managing over 100 sales and technical professionals. In addition, between 1995 and 2000 he held the positions of Regional VP of Sales and VP Worldwide Sales and Marketing for the Enterprise Service Division for PictureTel Corporation. In his role with PictureTel, a company whose name is synonymous with the video conferencing industry, Mr. Macli managed the global sales and marketing organizations for PictureTel’s service division and managed a team of sales directors and account managers in the U.S. and Europe.
When asked why he decided to join IVCi, Mr. Macli explained, “I chose IVCi because of their dedication to customer satisfaction and their focus on providing services including IP consulting, audio and video integration and design, hardware maintenance and support, and network services. In addition, IVCi’s new IntelliNet* IP video conferencing offering means we can finally offer our customers a reliable, cost effective, and easy to manage global video conferencing solution. After years of coping with ISDN’s weaknesses, it will be a pleasure to promote the IntelliNet service to our new and existing customer base.”
“Charlie’s experience and positive attitude makes him especially compatible with the rest of the IVCi executive management team,” reports Robert Swing, IVCi’s President. “With Charlie’s help, we’re confident that IVCi will grow at an even faster rate than ever before.”
