IVCi Introduces the Global Scheduling System
Web-Based Scheduler For Video Conferencing Environments
BAY SHORE, New York October 11, 1999. IVCi, Inc. (www.ivci.com), a nation-wide leader in video communications solutions, today announced the introduction of the Global Scheduling System (GSS). The GSS is a web-based package for scheduling conference rooms within any size organization: local, national or global. This product was created to simplify and streamline the process of allowing end-users to reserve a conference room anywhere within a companys environment. It will be marketing under the companys new Global Scheduling Division.
The release of the Global Scheduling System will allow IVCi to continue to set itself apart from our competitors in the video industry by being able to offer our customers a unique and value-added solution for their business, said Adam Zeitsiff, President of IVCi. Until today, creating and implementing a centralized tool for the management of video conferencing resources and meeting environments has been a daunting task. The GSS encompasses all of the robust features and capabilities required to manage any size video conferencing network and combines them with a user-friendly interface that is accessible directly from your PCs browser.
The GSS is capable of scheduling all types of resources, although IVCi has placed a special emphasis on video conferencing-enabled environments. The user-friendly web interface is simple to navigate, and once logged on for the first time, the user is not required to touch their keyboard again. They simply utilize their mouse to browse the GSS pages and create the details of the conference they are scheduling. Also, since the Global Scheduling System is a web-based package, no special client software is required to be installed on an end-users workstation.
The first release of the Global Scheduling System has the following key features:
- Graphical, Web-Based Access Directly From An Internet BrowserNo Client Software To Load
- A centralized master database for schedule management
- Adhoc or Advanced Scheduling Of 1 to 4 conference Rooms Simultaneously
- Real-Time Database Updates and Modifications
