Financial Firm's Boadroom Delivers Life-like Video Meetings in HD

The Challenge

A Manhattan-based financial firm required a complete renovation of its executive boardroom to fit 60-70 participants. The audio visual equipment also had to be updated to allow for effective video and audio conferencing across company locations.

The facility manager contacted industry expert IVCi to provide the boardroom's audio visual (AV) integrated solution.

The Solution

The solution IVCi supplied included a rack-mounted Polycom 9004 high definition video conferencing system with multisite capability, 120 inch projection screen, video data projector and rear projection system, BiAmp audio conferencing, wireless microphone system, DVD playback deck, and Crestron touch panel for easy system control.

The Results

"We are thrilled to death with the system IVCi provided," the facility manager said. "We love the huge screen — we can literally get the feel of the other room we're talking to. This set-up helps create the feel of a face-to-face meeting; the high definition system delivers very crisp, clear images. It is a very good system, and we use it quite a bit — we are happy with it."

The facility manager said he was pleased with his experience working with IVCi. "We have an excellent relationship with IVCi, and they always make sure we are well taken of. I look forward to partnering with them again on future projects."
