New Form Factor

The next generation Accordent Capture Station ships on hardware from IBM with an Intel 2.8 GHZ Dual Core Processor, 512 MB RAM, 80 Gigabyte Hard Drive, and a DVD-ROM / CD-RW drive. Should any of the IBM hardware fail or malfunction, the next generation Accordent Capture Station comes with a three-year onsite warranty from IBM, ensuring that it will be repaired or replaced at no cost. Accordent is also offering a mobile upgrade kit for the next generation Accordent Capture Station, which includes a 17-inch flat panel monitor and wheeled carrying case.

MPEG 4 Video Codec

Accordent and vBrick have integrated the Accordent Capture Station and vBrick's EtherneTV product line, allowing users leverage the MPEG-4 video codec for live or on demand publishing of their rich media presentations

Integrated VGA Image Capture Preview

Other feature upgrades include an integrated VGA preview window, allowing users to feel confident that they are successfully receiving a signal from their VGA enabled presentation devices before and during the presentation capture process. This integrated screen also allows users to adjust the capture specifications of the VGA image, including horizontal and vertical position, horizontal size, brightness and contrast.

Pre-Pick and Pre-Publish Interfaces

Users can now choose their presentation interface and a publishing directory on their servers at any time before they capture an event. This allows users to post a link to the presentation on a website or send out that link in advance of the event, ensuring the largest audience size possible.

Unsurpassed Ease of Use		Simply connect your video camera and PC (or other content device) to Accordent Capture Station™ and you are ready to capture your presentation for live broadcast or on demand viewing. Just present your information as you otherwise would and Accordent Capture Station will do the rest, including capturing audio and video content and all of the visual information shown on your PC. When you are done, the Accordent Capture Station has saved a copy of your presentation that can be edited and made searchable within a content management system.

Presentation Editing		The Accordent Capture Station also allows a presenter to edit their live presentation before publishing it on demand. These editing features include: • Adding or removing images • Changing the timing of synchronized images • Adding, removing or editing chapter timings within the presentation.
Extend Presentation Value		Once a presentation has been created, it can be published to custom content portal, and be categorized by the type of content or by date. Viewers may access content directly or utilize Accordent's sophisticated search technology to access content from a custom content portal. Search queries can include: presenter names and titles, content descriptions and dates.
Additional Capabilities		• Create and/or customize the presentation interface to promote unique branding and messaging • Optional three-year onsite warranty ensures that hardware will be fixed or replaced at no additional cost. • Remotely start and stop a presentation from any internet ready computer, provided there is a VGA cable that connects the Accordent Capture Station with the presenting computer. • Utilize the Capture Station’s built-in A/V encoder or employ third party remote A/V encoders. • Automatically publish your presentation to CD or DVD.
