With on-demand recording and streaming capabilities, users can webcast corporate events such as company meetings or investor relations call to employees, customers, and shareholders worldwide. Educational organizations can expand their distance learning programs by recording and streaming lecture materials to remote sites. Sales and Marketing teams can gain a competitive edge by generating compelling multimedia presentations that can be viewed on customers desktop through popular tools such as Windows Media and RealPlayer. RSS 2000 recording and streaming server provides high capacity internal storage to archive recorded conferences to meet legal compliance.

Recording and streaming multimedia just got easier with Polycom RSS 2000

Users can start recording from any Polycom endpoint or MCU. In a point to point video conference, the system will record both sides in a single stream. A multipoint conference can be recorded and streamed live over the web.

The RSS 2000 allows users to easily start recording from any type of video conferencing endpoint, using simple DTMF commands such as Start, Pause and Stop. Up to 900 hours of stored content can be accessed from any IP endpoint or PC, enabling employees to easily access valuable company knowledge at their convenience.

With the addition of the RSS 2000, Polycom continues to empower organizations to communicate and collaborate in an effective and timely manner, regardless of time and location.
