This interactive whiteboard is designed for people who are looking for a portable, integrated multimedia unit that allows them to communicate precise information with clarity. It's ideal for military applications, satellite imaging, design work and simulation projects.

The SMART Board 4000i combines a 66”(168 cm) shadow-free screen, sound system, laptop and videoconference inputs, and a source switch that allows you to alternate between multimedia devices seamlessly.

Display every detail
An SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) projector with a short-throw lens, 3000 lumens and 2500:1 contrast ratio displays high-resolution visuals and ensures long-lasting operation.

Switch between multimedia devices
The control panel allows you to switch between your computer and a connected laptop or other multimedia devices. A laptop shelf and connection cables attach to each side of the cabinet.

Enhance your message with sound
The integrated audio system includes stereo-amplified speakers controlled from the front of the unit.

Control your computer with digital touch
DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology is the magic behind SMART's proprietary digital touch system. It lets you use your finger as a mouse and write in digital ink on the screen, without special tools or any reduction in image quality.

Select a pen and start writing
Optical sensors automatically detect which pen or eraser tool is picked up from the SMART Pen Tray. As well, buttons located on the tray allow you to either choose an On-Screen Keyboard or the option to right-click.

Save your ideas
You can save all of your work to a single file that is compatible with either Mac OS operating system software, Windows operating system or Linux operating systems. Notes and graphics are saved as objects that you can manipulate and reorganize.

Touch System DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology is the magic behind SMART's proprietary digital touch system. Cameras track contact on the screen and allow you to use your finger as a mouse. You can write in digital ink on the screen, without special tools or any reduction in image quality.
Screen Resolution The SXGA+ projector's short throw lens produces a wide image from a shorter distance, saving space and improving image quality.
SMART Pen Tray Sensors detect when a pen or eraser tool is picked up from the SMART Pen Tray. Buttons on the tray allow you to choose an on-screen keyboard or to right-click.
Digital Ink Write in digital ink over applications, websites and videos. Optical sensors automatically detect when a stylus or the eraser is selected, while buttons activate the on-screen keyboard and right mouse click. Whisper-tip styluses and eraser included.
Save Function Capture your work to SMART Board software as a screen shot that you can edit, or save your notes directly into several software applications, including Windows versions of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, or into AutoCAD software.
SMART Board Software SMART Board software offers a powerful combination of Notebook whiteboarding software and SMART Board Tools. Notebook software gives you access to thousands of digital images, templates, interactive and educational content, and advanced drawing tools. Through an easy-to-use interface, you can also create, organize and save notes, drawings and screen captures SMART Board Tools add flexibility and convenience to teaching. You can write over digital video, type with the On-Screen Keyboard or focus attention using the Screen Shade and Spotlight tools. Other features include LinQ software, the Start Center, SMART Video Player, SMART Recorder and Floating Tools.

Space-saving Cabinet The 29¼” (74-cm) deep, tapered, mobile cabinet fits easily through standard doorways and positions discreetly into corners.
Control Panel Projector power, input sources and volume can be controlled at the front of the unit.
Audio System The integrated audio system includes stereo-amplified speakers controlled from the front of the unit.
SMART Screen The diffusion screen reduces reflection and glare to deliver a high-contrast, uniform image with a wide viewing angle.
Laptop or Videoconferencing Support (optional) The shelf and connection cables attach to either side of the cabinet. An additional shelf is optional.
Locking Casters Four large, durable casters make the 3000i easy to reposition and lock in place.
Room-Control Module (optional) This module integrates the 3000i control panel with a room-control system.
Laptop Support Connection cables and an X-Port 20 switch located inside the unit let you control your laptop from the interactive whiteboard. You can switch between your computer and laptop from the control panel.
Wireless Keyboard and Holder The standard Microsoft Windows operating system keyboard comes with built-in trackball.
Connection Panel The easily accessed connection panel makes it simple to connect a second projector, external audio system, network, printer or other serial device.
