Polycom Global Management System
The Polycom Global Management System is an intelligent web-based system management software solution for IT professionals to manage your enterprise-wide video communications network. The Polycom Global Management System has six major components; System Management, Global Directory, Software Update, Provisioning, Account Management and Reports. Global management System now has the ability to manage the iPower products in addition to the ViewStation, ViaVideo, PathNavigator, WebCommander and any other third-party video communication products with an embedded web server.

Polycom Global Management System Requirements
Global Management System is a web-based client-server application that is accessed using a browser.
- 500MHz Intel Pentium III or compatible
- 128MB RAM (256MB recommended for Windows 2000 Server)
- At least 300MB free hard-drive space
- Microsoft Internet Information Services 4.0 or higher available by downloading NT option pack
- Microsoft Active Directory (if using the LDAP directory services option)
- Pro-active system notifies administrators through email, pager or cellular phones using remote alert notification
- Internet Explorer 6.0 with Service Pack 1
One of the following server operating systems:
- Windows NT 4.0 server with Service Pack 6
- Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 3
- Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 3
Client Console Requirements
The Global Management System console user interface is used by the IT administrator(s.) It is web-browser based and can be accessed using any machine on the LAN that has IP access to the server (the user interface can also be accessed using the server machine).
One of the following client operating systems:
- Windows NT 4.0 (Workstation or Server)
- Windows 2000 (Professional or Server)
- Windows 98
