The new Polycom ReadiManager LX100 is a single appliance that connects directly to the enterprise network to deliver simplified video/audio conference scheduling and device management. Gone are the days of having to maintain several servers to run separate applications.
Users can now schedule right from the desktop through the intelligent Polycom ReadiManager LX100 wizard that automatically prompts users to enter required conference information resulting in faster, easier scheduling and virtually eliminating the need for training. Users can also use their own Microsoft Outook or IBM Lotus Notes interfaces to schedule and manage conferences.
Users now have the complete flexibility to choose exactly how and when they meet. Create conferences that
automatically connect participants or “meet-me” conferences with dial-outs into or from a bridge. Place
point-to-point, embedded multipoint, or external MCU-based calls between virtually ANY standards compliant
video/voice communication system. Seamlessly connect endpoints and bridges from the major video communication
manufacturers across ISDN or IP networks.
Polycom ReadiManager LX100 also maximizes performance and availability with a minimum of administration.
Network devices are monitored 24/7 and administrators are automatically alerted to potential problems
via page or SMS. A zero-administration directory service automatically maintains dialing addresses for all
Polycom endpoints and administrators can manually add other devices through a simple process. In addition,
software updates and provisioning of endpoint settings for Polycom endpoints can be scheduled for completion
during off-business hours to reduce impact to services.
Comprehensive reporting is available on all calls and any network management information contained in the
Polycom ReadiManager LX100. Call Detail Record reports can be exported to a third party billing application
of your choice.
