Video conference system, complete with camera, codec, microphone and H.323 IP connectivity at 1 Mbps

The Sony PCS-11 has been designed to meet the necessary features of video conferencing over IP networks at up to 1 Mbps. The PCS-11 provides QoS technology to help ensure and enhance video quality over unmanaged networks. Compliant with the recently ratified H.264 industry standard coding, the PCS-11 offers television-like picture quality on half the bandwidth, meaning a video conference call placed using a bit rate of 384 Kbps (kilobits per second) can now exhibit the picture quality of a 768 Kbps bit rate call. These and other features incorporate the most advanced IT and Sony's world-wide proven AV technologies into a compact and stylish two-piece body.
