VCON HD5000 Multi-Purpose Solution
In addition to providing value as an advanced videoconferencing system, the HD5000 can also be used as a high-performance multimedia workstation. In a small conference room with a single monitor, or a large training room with dual plasma displays, the HD5000 can be accessed to perform multiple functions. The HD5000 can be used during a meeting or training session to display presentations or VCR/DVD videos. When the HD5000 is connected to the local area network, it can access network files to display during a videoconference, or to share during a meeting. With its access to the Internet, the HD5000 can be used to join a web data conference or instant messaging session; regardless of whether or not the system is in a videoconference.

There are many ways users can share information with a remote site. The HD5000 allows you to connect your laptop for data sharing, share files located on the network or the PC, or to connect a VCR/DVD to play movies or training videos during a videoconference.
